“I saw the film and thought it was humbling. It moved me, but it is also harsh and says a lot about what theater can mean in a person’s life. It is an at times harrowing portrait of the fragility of life but also an ode to the power and significance of our large auditorium on Leidseplein. If you like theater and the highs and lows experienced by people you absolutely must see this film.” – Ivo van Hove (theatre director)

“The most intimate portrait of an actress I have ever seen.” – Gerardjan Rijnders (stage director, actor and writer)
